Wood for Heating (Logs, Firewood and Woodburners)
As a result of our coppicing works in Westwood (and sometimes North Benfleet Hall Wood) we sell the surplus wood for use by local residents for firewood.
This wood is available either in lengths about 4ft long for you to cut and split, or we can supply cut and split logs. Delivery is possible and is free of charge within Castle Point. A small charge is made to cover fuel costs for addresses outside of Castle Point.
We deliver using a trailer which is 8ft x 4ft, and a load costs £85. Smaller loads are available as are sacks of logs.

To avoid disappointment please consider buying it during the spring and summer so it seasons in your log stores and you are ready for winter!!!
We also have wood chip that is ideal for mulch around the garden or for use with animals. Please phone or e mail for deatils.
Wood from coppicing is a very efficient and traditional fuel for domestic use. All our work is coppice work so heating your home on logs from local woodlands is a very environmental thing to do and is very low in carbon emmisions.
IT IS ESSENTIAL WHEN USING WOOD FOR HEATING THAT YOU USE IT CORRECTLY AND HAVE ALL WOODBURNERS ETC INSTALLED AND SERVICED TO MEET ALL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS.
